Six things you open it to do.

Four for the household and two for the side hustle.

  1. One number when you open it: what is safe to spend until pay day, after what you have spent, the bills still to come and what you plan to save.

    • Balances and transactions from your Australian bank accounts
    • A list of what needs your attention
    • Net worth with super, shares, property and loans
    • Hide amounts with one tap
  2. Transactions sort themselves into categories you can read, against limits you set.

    • Categories, limits and a month-by-month report
    • Subscriptions and free trials found for you
    • Split one card payment across categories
    • Budgets that run on your pay cycle, weekly, fortnightly or monthly
  3. Bills, renewals and one-off payments laid out by day, so nothing arrives as a surprise.

    • Planned payments and a calendar of money in and out
    • Reminders on your phone and computer
    • A shared household with your partner
  4. Goals with their own buckets. When money comes in, split it across them in one move.

    • Savings goals matched to your real accounts
    • Saved income splits, interest and projected balances
  5. Invoices that look like yours, sent from where the rest of your money lives.

    • Invoices, templates, clients and payments recorded
    • Pay links on invoices
    • Quotes that become invoices, and recurring invoices
  6. An estimate of what you will owe and the money already put aside for it, all year.

    • Tax estimate, payslips, and deductions with receipts
    • GST on invoices and expenses, and a worksheet for each BAS
    • Business and personal spending kept apart, with part-business costs
    • A tax set-aside worked out each time an invoice is paid
    • Earnings statements from rideshare and delivery apps, with tips, fees and GST
    • Car logbook and working-from-home helper
    • Read-only access for your accountant

Latest in the changelog, 3 October 2026: The rebuild

The things it does every day.

Once your accounts are in, three jobs run on their own: what lands is sorted, subscriptions are found, and a reminder reaches you before money goes out.

  • Transactions and budgets

Everything that lands is sorted into a category as it arrives, and your budgets fill as you spend. They run on your pay cycle, weekly, fortnightly or monthly, so a budget never crosses a pay day.

  • Subscriptions, found for you

Every subscription and free trial in your spending is found and listed with what it costs a month, and you hear before a trial starts charging or a price goes up.

  • Calendar and reminders

Pay days and bills go into the calendar you already use, and a reminder reaches your phone the day before each one. Add your own dates too: a car service, a school term, anything with a cost attached.

Three plans, in Australian dollars.

Prices include GST. Founding members keep the founding price for as long as they stay.

  • Bank feeds from your Australian accounts
  • Transactions sorted for you
  • Net worth with super and property
  • Your partner included

Bank feeds for up to 2 accounts are included. More need a bank-feed plan from A$119.88 a year, paid to that service, not to Clementine.

Sole Trader

The household, plus the side hustle.

Founding members: A$129 a year, fixed for life

  • GST and a BAS worksheet
  • Tax set aside when an invoice is paid
  • Quotes and recurring invoices
  • Pay links on invoices

Everyone starts with 30 days of Sole Trader. No card. If you do nothing it drops to Free, and everything you entered stays.

See what is in each plan

Why you can rely on it.

  • You pay for Clementine, so it lasts.

A money app that somebody else pays for answers to them, not to you, and it closes when their plans change. Clementine is paid for by its members and by nobody else: A$9.99 a month for Plus, and Free stays free.

    Why we charge

  • It never sells your data, and it never takes a referral fee from a lender.

No ads, no partner offers, no commission from a bank, insurer or broker. The plans are the whole business, and the few services that process your data are listed with exactly what each one sees.

    Independent and staying that way

  • Everything you put in can be exported, in full, whenever you like.

One zip: a spreadsheet for each kind of record, one JSON file with everything as stored, and your receipt photos. It is free on every plan, and it still works after a plan has ended.
